12T Fitted Shock Van

A total of 3000 of the diagram 1/209 shock absorbing vans were built by British Railways. Bearing a strong resemblance to the standard 12T ventilated van, the body was mounted on a spring system that allowed it to move relative to the underfame to reduce the chance of damage to the load.
