Aspinall Saddle Tank 0-6-0

The classic Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway saddle tanks were rebuilt from redundant tender locomotives between 1891 and 1899. In 1961 there were still seven locomotives in regular service plus a few used as works shunters at Horwich and Crewe. The last (51305) was withdrawn in 1964, one example is preserved.
